Alps packs have quickly become a favorite in the industry, especially amongst professionals.  Boasting a generous 5,250 cubic-inch capacity, the top-load Alps Commander X Pack Bag has the space you need for multi-day backcountry hunting expeditions. In addition to the draw-string closure main compartment, the Alps Commander X Pack Bag includes four external pockets to help organize small, must-have items. There is a large side pocket suitable for a spotting scope, a medium- size upper front pocket perfect for a med kit, lights, snacks, and other essentials, and two side pockets for small items. All pockets include rugged zippered closures to keep contents safe yet quickly accessible. For convenient bottom-pack access, the Pack Bag comes with a zippered lower door.

Working with the Alps Commander X Pack Bag is the ALPS OutdoorZ Freighter Frame. This strong yet lightweight aluminum frame doubles as the Pack Bag support and as a stand-alone frame for hauling meat, cape, and antlers at the end of a successful hunt. Adjustable via the anodized cotter and clevis pin design, the frame has a drop-down shelf and integrated lashing panels with quick-release buckled cinch straps to keep heavy loads secure and stable during grueling pack-outs. Flashlight and knife pockets are included in the lashing system so that your essentials are always close at hand.

To enhance comfort, the Freighter Frame incorporates thickly padded shoulder straps and an adjustable waist belt that includes two side pockets. You can even secure a holstered handgun to the belt for convenient weapon access.

    What the buyers are saying:

Andrew Post: Also, to make the assembly and disassembly easier and faster, I use R-Clips on mine. Work great and so much easier to put on and take off. And you can find them at any hardware store. And yes, this bag is badass and i absolutely love it!!!

OzonoOzono: I have bought both this and the Pursuit pack, I don’t know how you guys do it, but these are products that could totally hold up to items costing up to 4 times the price, mine came with pins on and rings in a separate bag, Thank you for this, I use the rings where I do not change the configuration often and pins were they don’t stab me in the back, congratulations to your company as for the whole market these are the best bang for the buck so far
